Kim Condrin

Kim Condrin is the founder of Organize To Order and her passion comes from helping others.

She started her business after 9/11 when she was all too vividly reminded of the importance of  TIME … time to spend on those things that truly mattered in a person’s life whether they were a home-owner, a business-owner, entrepreneur, parent or senior citizen.

Kim realized very quickly that there was a growing demand for the business she had in mind. By taking on the responsibility for those tasks that had somehow grown unmanageable or unpleasant in the life of her clients, Kim’s business grew out of that natural desire to be of assistance to others.

Knowing how difficult it was for mothers to find fulfilling part-time employment, Kim had a second vision in mind when starting Organize To Order. businesswomen  Her dream was to create a company where women could find rewarding employment working around their children’s schedules because many moms make superb natural organizers! When she hired an organizer who was also a parent, Kim went out of her way to organize the scheduling around the children’s activities and this worked beautifully.

Kim attended Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and majored in psychology. While in school,  she worked for a law firm  and then spent 6 years working in both the busy emergency admitting department and on the pediatrics floor of  a large municipal hospital. It was here that she learned to focus on her work in spite of chaotic surroundings. In the early 80’s, she returned to the U.S. where she met and married her husband of nearly thirty years.

While raising two sons,  Kim worked in sales, marketing and management in both Portland and Seattle.

She believes strongly in ‘giving back’  and spent years volunteering in the communities organizing everything from fund raising events to auctions.  She is an advocate for animal rights and worked in animal rescue while living in Portland. Currently, Kim serves on the board of Evergreen Golden Retriever Rescue here in the Seattle area, teaches pre-school aged children at Timberlake Christian Fellowship in Redmond and when time permits, she speaks to all sized groups from large companies to women’s organizations.  She is certified to teach organizational skills in elementary schools and has taught at the college level. She is also a frequent mentor to new organizers entering the profession and takes great pride in helping design and coordinate a positive reinforcement program for high-schools that received national attention.

Kim is a member of the prestigious Golden Circle of NAPO (the National Association of Professional Organizers) which recognizes members who have an elevated level of experience and who have been engaged in the business of organizing for at least five years. In 2007, after studying for six months, she passed her board certification exam in order to validate her knowledge and experience based on the highest industry, psychometric and legal standards.
